Braeden's newest love...escalators, although an elevator will do in a pinch. Yesterday was cold and yucky, so we took Braeden to the mall to play on the escalators. It was warm and free. A win-win situation. He was fussy when he got up from his nap and we told him that we were going to go ride an escalator. He immediately said, "I want el-ay-or." That's the best way to describe how he says it. When we were able to see the mall, his little hands started signing "more" about as hard as he could (and he was saying it out loud). I'm surprised he doesn't have bruises! I LOVE that he's starting to recognize places and know what they are! It makes my heart happy! Once inside, we hunted down every last escalator in the place. I tried to get some pictures of Braeden on the escalator, but it's kind of hard to do when you are moving also. It was fun to watch him jump onto the escalator with us holding his hands. He even sat down at one point. He has just as much fun watching people go up and down. And yes, his shirt is too small, with his diaper hanging out of the top of his pants. He just wanted to be like the rest of the cool kids at the mall!
