More up, more down

Today was freezing cold, to put it mildly.  I decided to get out of the house by taking Braeden to the mall.  I knew we could have hours of entertainment with the escalators.  Much to my surprise, he had just as much fun running back and forth between the up escalator and the down escalator.  (And really Braeden, could you pick something to like that's just a little bit easy to spell/type?).  He made lots of noise, but that's alright because there weren't a lot of people there and who doesn't like a happy kid anyways?

We have also been watching escalator videos, which are almost as exciting as the real thing. What is not exciting is the fit he throws when the video is over.

Another really, really cool thing happened on the way home.  We had to drive by the Kennesaw State stadium. In October, we went with some friends to a Halloween fest where they had hot air ballons.  Sometime in mid-December, we rode by for the first time since Halloween and Braeden saw it and said, "I want loon," which means balloon.  I thought that I was just hearing things because surely he couldn't remember from almost two months prior!  We drove by again that week, and sure enough, he did the same thing.  And guess what, he did it again today!  Smart boy.  And apparently I'm not hearing things!
