Wow, what a crazy two days it has been. Snowmageddon, Snowpacolypse, or whatever you want to call it has been quite interesting. I seriously didn't think that we would get anything, but I guess I was wrong. Really wrong. Aunt Bri was here visiting and was supposed to stay until today, but she left yesterday morning at 5:30 to miss the snow (when Braeden woke up, he said, "I want Wee Wee). I was really thinking that she was leaving so that she would miss the snow in Virginia, not here. We ended up having early release and I picked Braeden up at 11. We stopped by Healthy Steps Pediatrics for a quick ear and throat check because he's been acting grumpy. He was fine. So we headed home, and the roads were quickly being covered and traffic was already backed up. Poor Jon left work at 1:30 and after 40 minutes he turned around and went back to work. His second try only took him 3.5 hours to get home. He was one of the lucky ones!
Braeden and I went out in the snow and played just a little bit yesterday. At the end of this video, I am trying to get Maggie to come back. I am not asking Braeden if he wants a treat, although I'd give him one if he wanted!
We went out for a long, long time today! We walked around CVS and then went to the big field behind Due West church. We had a blast just running around!
It is way easy to get Maggie to be still and look at the camera than it is Braeden!
I'll probably post some more because I haven't finished uploading all the pics and videos. I'm quite done with the snow though. School is out again tomorow and Jon doesn't have to go in until 12. At least it's supposed to be 61 on Saturday, so hopefully it will be all better by then!
