About a month ago, Braeden was evaluated by our local school district to see if he would qualify for special needs pre-k. A lengthy, 45 minute evaluation was in order. One of the questions they asked was if Braeden ever helped with any chores at home. In my head, I'm thinking, "He's not even 3. Why in the world would he help with chores. I don't even want to do them!" I answered that he didn't really. But within the week. I had him involved in some chores. They didn't say he had to be 100% successful!! Next up, we'll work on scrubbing toilets. Hehe, just kidding!
Here's Braeden helping unload the dishwasher. You'll probably never want to come eat at our house (of course this is a ploy...I don't want to cook for anyone!)
Something else that I have been getting him involved in his helping me cook, also known as, adventures in preventing Braeden from falling off the chair (hasn't happened yet!). I had to give him his own set of adult utensils, because he wasn't having anything to do with the baby stuff!
Stay tuned to see how else I can make him earn his keep!
