Finally!

Oh my goodness.  I thought that this day would never come, but Braeden is finally drinking from a cup!  I am officially done nursing!  He's been doing a good job and has been drinking about 8 oz of milk a day, which is definitely not where he should be, but it gets the job done.  He's still having plenty of wet and dirty diapers!  We are also adding Instant Breakfast to the milk to add some calories.  We are very proud of him and also relieved. :)  We are going to try the appetite stimulant again, because it seems as though he's fallen back into old patterns.  I was going to wait until he was off the amoxicillin from the ear infection, but 3 days later he was back on antibiotics for strep.  He will finish that this week and then we will try again.  Although it did not make him fuss for food, when he was eating he definitely seemed more interested.  Fingers crossed!  We've been having some fun with the drinking, too!
