I know everyone thinks that their child is the cutest. But I swear, Braeden really is the cutest thing ever. I look at him at least once every day, despite all of the challenges we've been through, and think, "I am so lucky to have Braeden as my son. I don't think that he can get any cuter." Of course, the very next day he usually proves me wrong and I think the same thing.
Braeden's latest cutest revolves around his love of animals. Very often, when we are trying to get Maggie or Laney to come, we make kissing noises or clicking sounds. Even then, they don't always come. I noticed that Braeden had been trying to call them making these sounds, too. He doesn't stop there. He tries to call any and every animal that he sees! My mom and I got a really good laugh when he tried to call the lobsters at Kroger! He also tried to call the bug on the back of his chair, the ants outside, the geese we saw on a run....the list goes on and on. I hope his love for animals never ceases!
Another obsession he has right now is "wain." When he wakes up in the morning, or from nap, his first word is "wain." Yup, that's right, he's obsessed with rain. He even threw a fit when it wasn't raining when he got up from his nap. Explaining to a toddler that I can't make it rain is pretty useless. He could stand at the backdoor all day and watch the rain hit the deck. I tried to capture him on video saying it, and pretty soon it turned into some silly antics. I think that we have a little ham on our hands!
