Bubbles and such

I tried posting this video last week, but couldn't upload it through the blog, so I had to upload it to Youtube, so I hope this works!  We were playing with bubbles last week.  He did fine with this in OT, but as soon as we went outside to do it, he had a meltdown!  I think it's because the bubbles were getting away from him and disappearing before he could have any fun!  So, yes, I am a mean mother and had to reenact it when Jon got home and could hold the video camera!

We also had some fun with one of Braeden's favorite friends who came over this week.  Braeden was trying as hard as he could to keep up around the coffee table, and Andrew was great about waiting for him!

And we had to get Braeden's fro cut.  It's only been 5 weeks, but talk about some bedhead!  He cried the entire hair cut last time because he didn't like the trimmers, but he did really well this time and only stuck his lip out once!  Here's a picture of his new do, although he did get an attitude while I was trying to take pictures because he was playing with the blinds (which is his favorite thing to do).  You can definitely see all those teeth, too!  He had 6 total, and one of them is a molar.

We had a good week in PT.  Sarah checked out his inserts and was really happy how well they fit and how much more support they gave him.  Now we have to work on strengthening his right side so that he will be able to balance better.  He really likes to put all of his weight on his left foot when he is standing and walking with assistance.  So, we're going to attach some weights to make him work harder....just kidding!!!!

We're looking forward to our trip to Michigan, Virginia, and North Carolina this next week.  Hope it's fun!
