Atlanta weekend

We all know that I have stellar skills when it comes to keeping up with the blog.  Braeden is changing so fast and doing so many new things!  St. Patrick's Day weekend was a lot of fun for us.  We went downtown and spent the weekend.  We started things off with the St. Patrick's Day parade on Peachtree Street.  We haven't taken Braeden to a parade in a while, so we weren't sure if he would be interested or not.  We have also recently gotten a pair of headphones for him, as sometimes loud or high pitched noises scare him.  (Yes, we sat through the entire dolphin show at the Georgia Aquarium with him pointing at the door and saying, "all done.").  He didn't have to wear them for most of the parade, but we put them on when the firetrucks came by.  He didn't seem to notice at all!  Sidenote: When he wears them at home, he yells a lot, probably because it sounds funny.

Next up was going to the expo to pick up my race number for the half marathon the following day.  Braeden slept through the expo!  We then headed over to the aquarium.  We didn't last for very long because we were all worn out.  Braeden had fun!  There was a diver in the big tank that played with Braeden.

Daddy took Braeden in the penguin tunnel.  He loved it!

On Sunday, it was half marathon time.  The weekend prior I had the stomach bug and couldn't get out of bed.  I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to finish.  It was definitely harder than I remember, but I beat my course record by a minute! If you look really close, you can see me by the American flag on the left.
